Overview

TactAnchor provides AI-assisted customer communication tools for small businesses, including SMS messaging related to customer inquiries, appointment scheduling and confirmations, service updates, and customer support. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with the TactAnchor website and services.

Information we collect

  • Account and business information provided during signup and onboarding (such as name, email, business name, and related settings).
  • Customer communication content processed through the service (such as SMS message metadata and conversation records needed to operate the receptionist and support workflows).
  • Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records when you opt in via our SMS Opt-In web form or through supported SMS keywords (for example START / STOP).
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps used for security, abuse prevention, and consent evidence.

How we use SMS and mobile information

We use mobile phone numbers and related SMS consent evidence to:

  • Deliver and receive conversational / customer-care SMS on behalf of TactAnchor and businesses that use TactAnchor.
  • Honor opt-in and opt-out preferences (including STOP / HELP / START keyword handling).
  • Maintain audit records of when and how consent was obtained, including the consent language version presented at the time of opt-in.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the messaging service.

SMS messaging through TactAnchor is intended for customer inquiries, appointment scheduling and confirmations, service updates, and customer support — not for unrelated marketing or promotional campaigns.

Sharing of mobile information

We do not sell mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service (for example Twilio for SMS delivery and infrastructure providers for hosting and databases), solely as needed to provide and secure the service, subject to appropriate contractual protections.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

Opt-out and HELP

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. You may also contact the business that messaged you or TactAnchor support to request assistance with messaging preferences.

Retention

We retain SMS consent evidence and related operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and carrier compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Business customers may also have their own retention settings within the product.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

TactAnchor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
